NYHED fra Washington State. Force Majeure Parvata 2014 har netop scoret hele 96 point i Robert Parkers "The Wine Advocate":
"Checking in as a blend of 40% Mourvedre, 35% Syrah and the balance Grenache, the 2014 Parvata (this is a Sanskrit word meaning rocks and stones) dishes up awesome notes of blueberries, liquid violets, barbecued meats and peppery spice to go with a full-bodied and rich yet still tight and focused style on the palate. This is a beautiful, incredibly pure GSM blend from winemaker Todd Alexander that will benefit from a year or two in bottle and keep for a decade. It's one of the best GSM blends coming out of Washington. Give it a decant if drinking anytime soon."

93 point - International Wine Report:
"The 2014 'Parvata' by Force Majeure is a gorgeous wine from this estate. The name for this red blend is derived from a Sanskrit name for 'mountain' in connection to their Red Mountain vineyard. The Rhône blend has a massive dark core. Entirely sourced from the Force Majeure Vineyard, the wine is a blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 35% Syrah and 25% Grenache. The wine has a bouquet of smoked brisket, provencale herbs, sagebrush, blackberry pie and hints of mocha. There are flavors of black cherry, mocha, black olive, creosote and hints of black pepper that lead to an extremely long finish. The fruit weight and minerality of this wine is exceptional. This massive wine needs another year of bottle age to settle and for more fruit to integrate. If enjoying young, this will benefit from extended air contact. (Best 2017-2028)."

"A new offering from this winery, this wine is a blend of Mourvèdre (40%), Syrah (35%) and Grenache. Aromas of herbs, citrus, black fruit and light barrel accents are followed by rich, black-as-night fruit flavors that show a hedonistic styling."
